Friday, December 7th
Legendary Darts ace Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor will front a field of professional stars at Ipswich’s annual night of arrows action, when Full Power takes place at the Corn Exchange on Friday 7th December.
16-time World Champion Taylor retired from the professional tour following January’s World Championship final but is enjoying touring the world to showcase his skills – and a stop in Ipswich is included in his schedule.
Joining Taylor, who dominated professional darts for almost three decades, will be former World Championship finalist Danny Noppert and Welsh World Cup star Jonny Clayton. Top professional Steve West and the unmistakable Bobby George will also be appearing at what will be a highly entertaining evening.
Ipswich professional talent Ryan Meikle and young prospect Jarred Cole will also be on show.
Taylor said: “I’m really looking forward to the event in Ipswich. They’ve but a great line-up together and we will have a lot of fun and there will be some great darts. This is what my retirement is all about – getting to visits different places that aren’t on the professional tour and meeting fans.
“Anyone who has never been to the darts before should come to this. It really is a special night out and I know that those who have been before will help to create the party atmosphere that makes darts what it is.”
Taylor is widely regarded as a national sporting treasure and is arguably the most successful sportsman England has ever produced.
Price: £27 to £72
